Drink in the Season: Best Holiday Beverages in Baltimore

Dec 14, 2022

Holiday flavors in Baltimore are unique and festive. ‘Tis the season to be merry, so we’ve provided a list of the top holiday drinks in Baltimore:

Holiday Spirit

Up in Mount Vernon, you’ll find Sugarvale, a cocktail bar with a festive ambiance for the holiday season, and an amazing selection of seasonal drinks. Be sure to try their sophisticated take on eggnog, the Four Koko. Featuring KO Distilling Bare Knuckle Rye, this seasonal cocktail includes coconut cream, a whole egg, cinnamon, cachaca, dark rum, amaro, and cinnamon.

Another favorite bar decked up for the season is Dutch Courage, a gin-centric cocktail bar in Remington. They have an entire menu dedicated to the holidays with drinks such as their D.C. eggnog, made with house egg nog, pineapple rum, apple brandy, and lustau amontillado sherry. Be sure to look for their Gingle Bells menu for more delicious cocktails.

If there’s one thing that brings the holiday spirit, it’s the Miracle Pop Up Bar. This pop-up bar at Power Plant Live is truly decked out from floor to ceiling with holiday decorations. Celebrate the season by ordering a Christmapolitan or Holiday Spiked Chai. Be sure to check out their miracle food menu while you’re there, too.

Christmas Village in Baltimore is an outdoor and indoor holiday market in the Inner Harbor, modeled after Christmas markets in Germany and the famous Christkindl Market in Nuremberg. Before you browse the vendors, grab one of their holiday drinks, like bourbon Irish coffee or warm mulled wine by the mug. They also have non-alcoholic drinks, like hot chocolate and hot apple cider.

Be sure to check out Little Havana in Federal Hill their seasonal menu. While they may be known for their authentic mojitos, their holiday menu will not disappoint! Their dirty chai, Irish coffee, mulled wine, and rum hot toddy are all delectable seasonal beverages.

For the Coffee and Tea Lovers

There’s no need to wait until happy hour to drink in festive flavors. These coffee and tea destinations are serving up holiday cheer bright and early!

Over in Canton, be sure to check out OneDo Coffee Roasters, where they have delicious house-made drinks for the season, such as their s'mores latte, served with a roasted marshmallow on top. Want beans to go? Be sure to check out their holiday blend as well.

If you love brunch, then you’ll love the selections at Teavolve in Harbor East. Their red velvet latte is a must-try, along with their chocoholics choice, Nutella mocha latte, or even their salted caramel mocha latte.

Federal Hill’s very own Order & Chaos Coffee has plenty of seasonal drinks to choose from. From their peppermint bark latte, to their white chocolate macadamia latte, to their toasted marshmallow latte and cinnamon bun latte, each of their festive flavors is guaranteed to put a smile on your face as you drink in the holiday season.

Happy Holidays
We hope you enjoy the holiday season even more with these festive beverages. We wish you a very happy holiday season!
