February Fun in Baltimore

Although February in Baltimore can be cold, there are a lot of fun activities to take part in throughout the city, all not too far from your home here at Anthem House.

Food for Thought

If you’re a foodie, you’ll want to be sure to check out some of these delectable events.

On February 11th, attend a Cheese and Chocolate workshop in Belvedere Square, where you can make your own cheese and chocolate board with the foods provided! Your own personalized board will go home with you at the end of the event. 

Want more chocolate than just one day can provide? The next day, February 12,  holds the ChocolateFest of 2022 with several different chocolate delicacies being served at Union Collective. Later that night, the Psycho Killers will make an appearance at Union Craft Brewing. 

Finally, for more flavorful festivities, there will be a Galentine’s Day Drag Brunch at Diamondback Beer. They even have breakfast pizza!

Valentines Festivities

Celebrate the month of love with these Valentine’s themed events.

Though Valentine’s is on a weekday this year, there are weekend activities to attend to celebrate this day of love! If you happen to have a love of running, attend Charm City Run’s For the Love of Running Fun Run! It is a free fun walk and run, and candy conversation hearts are given to all participants.

If you just need extra goodies for your loved ones, attending the Valentine’s Day Makers’ Market  can provide you with baked goods, flowers, and several other treats from pop-up shops. There is bound to be a gift worth giving here.

The Creative Alliance is also hosting a Mortified Doomed Valentine’s Day, where couples can share love letters and poetry

Super Bowl Sunday

Are you ready?

Valentine's Day is a very special day in itself, but this year it coincides with the Super Bowl! If you’re not one for romance, celebrating the biggest game of the year at Hair of the Dog for a Super Bowl Party is sure to be appealing. Enjoy the bottomless drinks and game day buffet when you arrive!

The Wonders of Animals

Weekends are for the zoo, not Zoom.

If you want to spend some time at the zoo, The Maryland Zoo’s Valentine’s Event teaches you about animal courtship and matchmaking at the zoo. There is also an open bar later in the night with live music.

Looking for a more unique Valentine’s experience? The Maryland Zoo is also holding a Galentine’s Flamingale Brunch the very next day.

Do dinosaurs tickle your fancy more than zoos? Well at the Maryland Science Center, you have the chance to drink wine while wandering the exhibit to learn about both dinosaurs and wine!
